The Legal Counsel is the primary point of contact for the PBM Sales and Account Management teams and is responsible for:
- Drafting PBM client agreements and supporting client negotiations
- Reviewing and redlining manufacturer contracts on behalf of our specialty pharmacy
- Advising on topics related to anti-kickback, false claims, various state healthcare laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Successful candidate desires to deliver an immediate and positive impact and possesses the following combination of education, skills and experience:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- 4-7 years’ legal experience, including 3+ years’ experience drafting PBM client agreements is required
- Preference for candidates with in house experience
- Strong preference for candidates with additional experience in specialty pharmacy/pharmaceutical manufacturer contracting

Location: Prefer candidate to be based in Amarillo or Plano, TX. May consider other locations for the right candidate.
Experience: Ideal candidate possesses a minimum of five (5) years of experience in pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Technician. Experience in compliance, quality, or auditing in the areas of compounding, billing, and controlled substance monitoring is preferred. Experience as a pharmacy auditor is strongly preferred.
