Overview

VYTLOne formerly known as Maxor National Pharmacy Services is currently seeking Specialty Manufacturer Liaison candidates to join our Specialty pharmacy team. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

The specialty manufacturer liaison is responsible for creating superior customer experience for our manufacturer partners in specialty pharmacy. The specialty manufacturer liaison serves as the manufacturer facing role responsible for accurate and timely responses to manufacturer inquiries. This role will be the primary point of contact for professional concise internal and external communication regarding referral status updates and next steps in prescription processing for HUB enrolled and non-enrolled patients, including communication and investigation of reimbursement issues.  The manufacturer liaison will work with the program manager as well as patient services personnel to manage the quality and execution of Manufacturer programs at Maxor Specialty Pharmacy in a comprehensive, collaborative manner; is accountable for all activities the assigned to the manufacturer liaison. Responsible for communicating and escalating any program needs and status to the Director of Specialty Programs and or the Director of Patient Services as applicable.

Responsibilities

  1. Communicate with our manufacturer partners.
  2. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of specialty pharmacy’s capabilities to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
  3. Assist the program manager to maintain oversight of programs’ performance.
  4. Ensure comprehensive and proactive program communication channels are established.
  5. Collaborate with specialty pharmacy teams to implement and monitor performance for custom workflow and contract requirements.
  6. Assist with the development and implementation strategies and solutions to optimize program performance and client satisfaction.
  7. Utilize tools and resources that are available to evaluate program data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Presents comprehensive updates to our partners and leadership.
  9. Monitors KPIs and elevates the need for corrective action taken to prevent subpar program performance and escalations to leadership.
  10. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including pharmacy operations, clinical, and patient services to achieve program goals and objectives.
  11. Stays informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to specialty pharmacy.
  12. Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
  13. Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
  14. Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
  15. Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
  16. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  17. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
  18. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:                

  • Bachelor's degree; high school diploma and equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience:

  • 3 years related work experience required in specialty pharmacy program management, or similar work experience.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical care, pharmacy systems, patient workflows, pharmacy operations regulations and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership and communication skills in establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships.

  7. Customer Service: Ability to lead operational initiatives to meet or exceed client/customer service standards and expectations in a timely and respectful manner.
