Pharmacy Technician - Whitman Walker Pharmacy – Full-Time

HOURS: Start as early as 7:30a, and work as late as 7:30p on a rotating schedule during the week; Rotating Saturdays 9:45a-3:15p

PAY: $23-$26/hour depending on experience, certifications, and skills

VYTLOne formerly know as Maxor National Pharmacy Services, is seeking a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Technician for its fast-paced, clinic-based pharmacy at Whitman Walker Clinic, located in Washington, D.C.

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
• Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner
• Think and act proactively
• Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Washington, D. C. Pharmacy Technician registration or application in pending status with DC Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• PTCB certified or willing to obtain certification within 6 months (VytlOne will assist)
• Must be able to start as early as 7:30a, and work as late as 7:30p on a rotating schedule during the week
• Must have rotating Saturday availability 9:45a-3:45p

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
