Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - Whitman Walker Pharmacy - Washington, DC

VytlOne (formerly Maxor National Pharmacy Services) is seeking a highly competent, customer service oriented, Pharmacy Technician for its fast-paced, clinic-based pharmacy at Whitman Walker Clinic, located in Washington, D.C. (PTCB or NHA certified preferred.)

The estimated compensation for this role is $23-$25 an hour depending on experience, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
• Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner
• Think and act proactively
• Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Washington, D. C. Pharmacy Technician registration or ability to obtain in a timely manner
• PTCB or NHA national certification (VytlOne will assist in obtaining this)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy preferred but willing to train

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred
• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a PLUS
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
