VytlOne (formerly ProxsysRx) is seeking a highly competent, dynamic leader for their Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services at TMH. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy professional with outpatient hospital/retail pharmacy management level experience to join an outstanding team of dedicated, caring and kind professionals. 

Job Summary

The Director of Outpatient Pharmacy Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for multi-site outpatient and specialty pharmacy services across the health system. This role is accountable for developing and executing strategies that optimize pharmacy business performance, ensure full compliance with 340B program requirements, and support team member pharmacy benefit management in alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage pharmacy operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee 340B program compliance and operational integrity, including audit readiness and adherence to federal and state regulations.
  • Drive financial performance through revenue integrity initiatives, accurate financial reporting, and support of pharmacy business unit growth and planning.
  • Develop and implement business plans and financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and expansion opportunities.
  • Manage human resources for the pharmacy team, fostering professional development and engagement.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to integrate pharmacy services across divisions and enhance enterprise-wide performance.
  • Promote awareness and engagement in pharmacy initiatives through presentations, webcasts, and other communication channels.

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy. 
  • PharmD is preferred.
  • Experience in 340B is highly preferred.
  • Specialty and retail pharmacy experience highly preferred.
  • Pharmacist license in good standing with the Florida board of Pharmacy Required.
  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience required. 
  • 5+ years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and establish collaborative relationships with physicians, patients, clinical and administrative staff.
  • Strong networking and collaborative communication skills. 
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software.
  • Ability to work in a complex team environment and to collaborate with both external and internal professionals and other customers.
  • Knowledge of relevant accreditation and certification requirements.
  • Ability to establish goals, structures, and processes necessary to implement a mission and strategic vision.
  • Leadership skills to direct and guide others appropriately including the ability to provide effective feedback and to recognized personal strengths and weaknesses and develop goals for professional growth and achievement.
  • Ability to network and interact, as well as support effective partnerships with key groups and individuals.
  • Ability to prioritize ongoing and new projects, as well as conduct research and gather information.
