Delivery Specialist - VytlOne Specialty Pharmacy

The Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering orders to the appropriate locations in accordance with established policies and procedures and will also be responsible for working in fulfillment while not delivering orders. 

WORK SCHEDULE:  Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm.  Occasional deliveries outside of the normal work schedule may be necessary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.  This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):

1. Deliver medications to residential customers in a timely manner with a focus on customer service.
2. Drive the Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner.
3. Receives a daily route and required delivery list and prepares the vehicle for delivery.
4. Drives to the delivery destination, confirms order with customer, verifies product, obtains confirmation signature from customer.
5. Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules. May be required to make deliveries after hours.
6. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
7. Inspect delivery vehicle and ensure the safety of the vehicle prior to making a delivery.
8. Establish and maintain outstanding relations with customers and internal team members
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and the pharmacy, adhering to all established protocols.
10. Maintain a current supply of boxes; assist with fulfillment duties as required.
11. Complies with established Company policies and procedures.
12. Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries.
13. Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
14. Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
15. Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
16. Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
17. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
18. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
19. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education: High School diploma or equivalency.  Pharmacy Technician certification and registration required or eligible to become certified and registered within one (1) year of employment.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of delivery experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Requires a valid, unencumbered TX driver’s license and a clear driving record

Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written

Must be able to work independently and manage time appropriately to meet deadlines

Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to solve problems and multi-task

Ability to work overtime when necessary

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Demonstrated organizational skills

Ability to work with a diverse group of people, including patients and physicians in a professional and courteous manner
