Overview

Maxor National Pharmacy Services has an EXCITING, opening for an experienced, full-time, customer focused Pharmacy Technician. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work at Mary's Center, one of the Maxor National Pharmacy Services network of clinic-based, onsite pharmacies in Washington, DC.  This full time position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of pay, a generous healthcare benefits plan participation, and 401 (K) Plan with company match.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and take prescription orders
  • Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
  • Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
  • Answer the phone
  • Input customer information into the computer system

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Current DC Pharmacy Technician license
  • Current PTCB Certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment (Maxor will assist)
  • Computer experience mandatory
  • Proven track record of exemplary customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a MUST
  • Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
