Pharmacy Technician - Bilingual Spanish Preferred

Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation is seeking highly competent, customer service oriented, DC Registered Pharmacy Technician to work full time within one of our fast-paced, clinic-based pharmacies in the Washington, D.C. area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in providing accurate, timely, appropriate, and compliant pharmacy services as per local/federal regulations and company policies and procedures Save
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately and efficiently
• Provide compassionate and attentive customer service
• Answer telephones expediently and courteously
• Operate POS and ring sales accurately
• Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions
• Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner
• Think and act proactively
• Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Already Washington, D. C. Pharmacy Technician licensed is preferred, or willingness to apply immediately to the DC Board of Pharmacy 
• PTCB National Certification is also strongly preferred (Maxor will assist in helping you obtain your certification)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail pharmacy
• Willingness to float to multiple pharmacy locations within the DC area
• Experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting a plus
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
• Bilingual Spanish Preferred
