 Pharmacy Technician -  Part Time - Whatley Health Services Pharmacy

 

Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC is seeking a highly competent, customer service oriented part time pharmacy technician for this exciting new opportunity to work within the Whatley Health Services Pharmacy. This rewarding position is for an experienced retail pharmacy technician with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to build relationships with both providers and patients.

 

Whatley Health Services, Inc. is a private, nonprofit, community health center whose mission is to provide primary health care services to those in need. All of our services are available to children, adults, and seniors who have coverage through private insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and others, and those who have no insurance coverage. For those with limited income, a sliding fee schedule is available who meet certain household size and income guidelines.

 

Shift Needed: Saturdays from 8:30am to 2pm

Job Duties:

  • Greet customers and take prescription orders
  • Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
  • Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
  • Answer the phone
  • Input customer information into the computer system
  • Perform other job duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Current PTCB is a plus
  • 2+ years retail pharmacy experience
  • Computer experience mandatory
  • Proven track record of exemplary customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
  • Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
