Overview

As a vital member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiting Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the talent acquisition efforts. You will be responsible for supporting or managing various aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience from application to onboarding for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

 

Location

Remote, home-based within the Continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the drafting of job descriptions, job postings, offer letters.
  • Assist with candidate sourcing, screening, pre-qualification, candidate presentation and ATS documentation.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Schedule interviews and send out interview confirmations to candidates and interviewers.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and answering any questions they may have.
  • Post job openings on various job boards and social media platforms.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings as requested.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in ATS.
  • Assist with the coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs and campus recruiting activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team as requested.

Qualifications

Education:                             

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency, College coursework preferred in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Or relevant experience or a combination of education and experience

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years previous experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or other recruiting-related role
  • Experienced working with applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS
  • Experience with career job boards including LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel
  • Proven experience with interview scheduling; both exempt positions and high-volume non-exempt positions

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of hiring practices and stages: sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, onboarding
  2. Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  3. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software; LinkedIn Recruiter, to manage candidate data and streamline the hiring process.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other team members.
  5. Ability to clearly convey information and actively listen to others.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced recruiting environment. Strong organizational skills to keep track of candidate information, schedules, and recruitment processes.
  7. Ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in all aspects of work, from scheduling interviews to maintaining candidate records.
  8. Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with team members, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
  9. Ability to work well with others, demonstrate empathy, and maintain professionalism.
  10. Ability to handle challenges or unexpected situations during the recruitment process. The ability to think critically, identify solutions, and adapt to changing circumstances to keep the process moving forward smoothly.
  11. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information securely to maintain trust and integrity in the recruitment process.
  12. Ability to provide a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.
  13. A customer service mindset, along with empathy and professionalism, to ensure that all interactions are handled with care and respect.
