Overview

Maxor is seeking a Vice President of Revenue Operations to join our Pharmacy Operations Team. The Vice President of Revenue Operations plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the strategic direction and efficiency of revenue-related functions across Maxor's three business units: Pharmacy Services, MaxorPlus, and Gateway. Leading cross-functional collaboration, the Vice President of Revenue Operations collaborates with the business unit sales teams, finance, IT, and marketing to ensure alignment with revenue objectives. Employing data-driven analytics and market insights, the role optimizes pricing strategies, streamlines workflows, and cultivates key relationships to drive revenue growth. Focus on driving success by building, reviewing, and understanding key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, this role measures sales team progress against KPIs, communicates successes and deficiencies to the sales management team, and spearheads campaigns and initiatives to enhance overall performance across our broad sales organization to ensure the organization’s sustained success in a dynamic business landscape.

Responsibilities

Sales Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving sales and account management performance.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards for sales and account management leadership, highlighting critical performance metrics and trends.

Territory/Quota Management:

  • Responsible for equitably assigning sales force territories and quotas and ensuring the company’s financial objectives are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources through the quota program.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales and account management team, assess and enhance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement strategies that focus on efficiencies in lead generation, prospecting and deal closure.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and propose solutions to boost overall sales productivity.
  • Influence new processes and technologies to optimize revenue paths. (Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

CRM Management:

  • Oversee and maintain the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data entry and integration to support sales initiatives.
  • In partnership with the Salesforce Center of Excellence, provide training and support to the sales team on effective use of the CRM platform.

Sales and Account Management Forecasting and Pipeline Management:

  • Work closely with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and current opportunities.
  • Identify strategic priorities and opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities, providing regular updates on deal progress and potential revenue projections.

Sales Enablement:

  • Support the creation and maintenance of sales collateral, presentations, and other resources that empower the sales team to effectively engage with prospects and clients.
  • Develop and implement training programs or materials to enhance sales capabilities and knowledge.

Sales and Account Management Compensation and Incentives:

  • In partnership with the Chief Commercial Officer and finance team, establish and communicate sales compensation program rules, policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the finance and human resource team to design and manage sales compensation plans and incentives, ensuring accuracy and timely payouts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration between marketing, finance, and other relevant business departments to ensure alignment and a cohesive approach to revenue generation across the organization.

Miscellaneous

  • Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
  • Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
  • Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
  • Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
  • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
  • Ensure staff is informed of product upgrades or enhancements in a timely manner.
  • Hire, train and discipline staff.
  • Develop and mentor departmental staff by providing career coaching; motivate departmental staff, individually and as a group; understand and support diversity; and establish an effective team.
  • Conduct initial and annual performance evaluations.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:                             

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college / university or 10+ years of equally relevant experience

Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in leadership roles demonstrating success in supporting B2B healthcare service and/or technology sales, ideally in the pharmacy services and/or pharmacy benefit management spaces.
  • Extensive experience in sales and revenue management within a dynamic and competitive business environment.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com, and developing analysis based on CRM data in a scalable manner.
  • Experience with high-growth companies with scaling revenues, teams, and product launches.

  • Current awareness of the PBM and Pharmacy Services industries trends and market dynamics.
