Overview

Maxor is seeking a seasoned healthcare or health systems sales professional to join our dynamic pharmacy services team. The Sr. Sales Executive, Health Center Sales is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating leads, and presenting business solutions to Health Center executives, brokers, consultants, and coalitions to sell our pharmacy services for the assigned territory. The Sr. Sales Executive collaborates with multiple business partners to identify potential clients, gives detailed sales presentations, and works to ensure the strategic goals of Pharmacy Service are achieved.

Location

Remote, home-based – Preferably located in the mid to west regions of the US

 

Ideal Experience Profile

-  7+ years sales management experience; 5+ years’ experience within healthcare or health systems

-  Working knowledge of the healthcare industry; specifically key economic drivers for Health Centers

-  Understanding of pharmacy services including but not limited to; 340B, Specialty Pharmacy, PBMs, pharmacy operations

-  Must have demonstrated experience and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas

-  Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

-  Positive attitude, innovative, self-starter

-  Skilled in decision making, problem solving, employee relations and conflict resolution

-  Exceptional communication skills to develop rapport and collaborate with all levels of customers and internal teams including C-Suite.

-  Ability to establish, manage, plan, and think strategically

-  Ability to build and foster collaborative relationships

-  Must function well under pressure, and have experience meeting sales quotas

-  Must have good analytical, organizational, and project management skills

-  Must be able to develop and implement plans, procedures, and processes to accomplish a goal

-  Proficiencies in Microsoft office, salesforce, and other industry related software

-  Ability to travel with overnight stays (less than 75%)

Responsibilities

  1. Identify, qualify, and source new business opportunities to build Pharmacy Service’s pipeline for growth.
  2. Successfully traverse complex health center selling environments to repeatedly close new pharmacy management services business targeted to IDNs, and Health Centers.
  3. Own entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through closing.
  4. Routinely update CRM system, sales pipeline, and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
  5. Align the region to company, sales, and area objectives with firm business strategy through active participation in regional strategic planning, gap strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting. Proactively cross-sell and generate leads for additional Maxor business units, including PBM services.
  6. Focus on increasing profitability and ensuring the growth of the Pharmacy Services.
  7. Work with the SVP, Sales and Account Management in developing marketing resources and contract negotiations.
  8. Prepare monthly activity report or hotlist report as needed for submission to the SVP, Sales, and Account Management.
  9. Identify potential new clients, manage discovery and solution development process, make pricing recommendations, draft, and deliver proposals, lead and organize finalist presentations.
  10. Drive the RFP process to analyze client needs and solution fit, contribute to preparation and positioning the company to win.
  11. Work collaboratively with internal departments such as underwriting, marketing, finance, product, implementation, and customer success teams to develop go to market strategies and efficiencies to successfully onboard new clients.
  12. Finalize contract terms and support the accurate translation of the proposal into contractual agreement.
  13. Participate and attend business events, conferences, trade shows and seminars.
  14. Design, prepare, and deliver sales presentations to close large opportunities. Act as a sales leader and company representative to customers, be present for customer meetings and next steps.
  15. Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.
  16. Monitor and analyze trends across the region, actively reviewing state, county, and local legislature in developing territory sales strategies. Work independently and in close cooperation with sales to foster and secure opportunities, including developing and refining presentations, RFP responses, panel discussions etc.
  17. Provide input and guidance to plan development.

Qualifications

Education:                             

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business or related field required.

Experience:                           

  • 7+ years sales management experience; 5+ years’ experience within healthcare or health systems preferred
