Overview

Maxor is seeking a Senior Director Products and Services to join our Pharmacy Services team. The Sr. Director is an experienced product and people leader responsible for developing and delivering the highest quality pharmacy services and products to meet the needs of patient and clients, while driving value and meeting Maxor Pharmacy Services strategic goals. The Sr. Director builds and leads a team of both clinical and non-clinical Product Analysts and Managers, providing coaching, training, and mentorship to help them develop their skills and achieve their professional goals.

 

Ideal Candidate Experience Profile

-  Minimum 5+ years’ experience developing and managing pharmacy related products & services

-  Minimum 3+ years of management experience

-  Expert knowledge of pharmacy services and products for: health systems, retail, specialty, inpatient/outpatient, mail order, 340B, and infusion pharmacy; understanding of PBM.

-  Experience developing and implementing clinical programs the drive client value and improve patient outcomes.

-  Experience with end-to-end product and service delivery and overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.

-  Deep knowledge and understanding of pharmacy workflows, pharmacy inventory management and supply chain processes.

-  Accountability mindset, take ownership of difficult issues & drive to successful resolution while meeting needs of a wide variety of stakeholders.

-  Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.

-  Professional demeanor and positive attitude; patient and client focused.

-  Extensive experience with cross-team coordination, project management, and executive presentation skills.

-  Ability to define a strategy and vision for future growth which includes an in-depth understanding of the market.

Remote, home-based within the Continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Translate the company's vision and business objectives into a clear product vision and strategy.
  • Responsible for quantifying and qualifying the return on investment for new services and products (both clinical and non-clinical) through business case development and presentation to senior executives.
  • Will work closely with VP of Strategic Services and SVP Health System Enablement to create and develop products and services, and comprehensive go-to-market plan for health system clients.
  • Leverages data-driven decision-making to ensure products and services meet patient and client needs and contribute to Maxor’s overall business strategy and goals.
  • Use proven product management principles to develop and prioritize product roadmaps, define product requirements, and manage product lifecycles from ideation to launch.
  • Applies understanding of the market and clinical expertise to inform product and service development.
  • Accountability for building and implementing metrics to help prioritize and drive execution towards the product vision and strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, strategic account executives, sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of new services, product initiatives, and successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure that products and services are launched on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and act on product performance data (e.g., client satisfaction, patient actions/outcomes, delivery, financial, and operational) to identify new enhancement opportunities.
  • Continually improve products using measured KPIs and OKRs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers, to stay informed of market trends, patient and client needs and opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of Maxor's solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to ensure products and enhancements effectively solve patient and client problems and meet the needs outlined in Maxor’s overall business strategy.
  • Ensures products and services are compliant with all regulatory, state/federal laws, policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Spend more than one-half of working time on management and leadership duties.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field

Experience:  

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in developing and managing pharmacy related services and products; 3+ years of management experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Expert knowledge of pharmacy services and products for the following: health systems, retail, specialty, inpatient/outpatient, mail order, 340B, and infusion pharmacy; understanding and experience with pharmacy benefit management.
  2. Experience developing and implementing clinical programs the drive client value and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Experience building service and product organizations from the ground-up.
  4. Experience with end-to-end product and service delivery and overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
  5. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of product priorities.
  6. Deep knowledge and understanding of pharmacy workflows, pharmacy inventory management and supply chain processes.
  7. Decisiveness, assertiveness, self-starter and the ability to achieve results quickly.
  8. Has an accountability mindset, will take ownership of difficult issues and drive to successful resolution while meeting the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders.
  9. Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities.
