Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager to work within the JPS Health Network Main Outpatient Pharmacy.
Job Summary
The Pharmacy Operation’s Manager will assist Pharmacy Operations in providing overall leadership direction and management of all operation processes and initiatives within the system. As a Maxor employee, the Pharmacy Operation’s Manager first priority should be to represent and advance the best interest of Maxor. The Pharmacy Operation’s Manager works closely with Pharmacy Operations to ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets all legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all applicable policies and procedures, codes and standards of the facility and Maxor.

JPS Health Network is a $950 million, tax-supported health care system for Tarrant County in North Texas. Licensed for 578 beds, the network includes an acute care hospital and more than 40 community-based clinics, including 19 school-based clinics. John Peter Smith Hospital is home to Tarrant County’s first and only Level 1 Trauma Center, its only psychiatric emergency services site and has the largest hospital-based family medicine residency program in the nation. The JPS Correctional Pharmacy is one of a number of JPS pharmacies managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services headquartered in Amarillo, TX.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or health related field
Project management or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, preferred
Current PTCB certification and Texas Board of Pharmacy registration, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Experience: Three years of proven project or process management leading and managing multiple projects
Operational management experience
Supervisory or Management experience
1 plus year Excel and Power Point experience
