    Maxor is currently seeking a experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing Specialty Pharmacy in Amarillo

    • The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for communication with patients, prescribers, third party payers, manufacturers and marketing staff for all refill activity
    • Ensures the receipt of all related medical and financial documentation from referral sources
    • Verifies the accuracy and completeness of patient information, etc.
    • Coordinates patient authorization and all necessary medical documentation and financial information required for medication refills
    • Assists with any required co-pay programs or patient financial assistance needs
    • Proactively schedules dispense dates for prescriptions
    • Tracks and communicates with patients regarding shipping issues



    • Active TX Pharmacy Tech certification & current PTCB certification highly preferred but not required
    • HS Diploma/GED required


    • Previous pharmacy experience and patient based customer service experience highly recommended
    • Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
    • Working knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Office and Outlook
    • Ability to problem solve and multi-task
    • Ability to accurately enter data into multiple software systems
    • Demonstrated organizational skills
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of people, including patients and physicians
