    Maxor National Pharmacy Services has an opportunity for a Sr. Director of Analysis to join our finance team in Plano, TX. The Sr. Director works with key stakeholders to provide decision-making support, reporting, and data-based financial analysis and forecasting.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop analytical reports in accordance with company standards and various division requirements.
    • Evaluate analytical findings; prepare and present the result of staff work and prepare recommendations to management.
    • Consult with and assist senior leadership on major strategic initiatives and special projects.
    • Establish partnerships with other departments in developing analytics strategies designed to measure and improve company and customer success.
    • Understand the processes and operations of various Maxor divisions. Play an integration role among these books of business and derive synergies that contribute to Maxor’s overall development.
    • Coordinate and interact with various agencies, management staff, vendors, etc., as needed.
    • Keeps abreast of company policy and industry standards, current developments, and changes in local, state, and federal laws as applicable.
    • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions and teams across the business.
    • Hire and train competent staff.
    • Develop and mentor departmental staff by providing career coaching; motivate departmental staff, individually and as a group; understand and support diversity; and establish an effective team.

    Qualifications

    Education: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required.
    • Master’s level preferred.

    Experience: 

    • Prior pharmacy experience preferred
    • 7+ years of progressive financial and business analysis experience
    • Experience in dynamic, complex, rapidly-growing business is preferred.
    • Planning and forecasting.
    • Proficient in SQL.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

    • Strong analytical skills and attentiveness to detail.
    • Ability to operate independently, highly organized and flexible.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate and present at all levels up to (and including) executive leadership.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally and build/nurture relationships with peers and business leaders.
    • Strong Leadership skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects; to meet timeline and quality expectations.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
    • Knowledge of Maxor’s auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Ability to translate management requests into actionable analysis.
    • Understanding of data gathering and relational databases.
