    MaxorPlus is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Account Executive to join our growing Clinical Initiatives team.

     

    Position:

    The Clinical Account Executive (CAE) manages and coordinates the clinical relationship between MaxorPlus and the assigned client(s). The CAE is an integral member of the Sales and Account Management team(s), and is expected to play a role in promoting cost containment and clinical improvement strategies for clients. The CAE works alongside the account executive, supporting quarterly presentations and creating/implementing innovative clinical solutions, with a key focus on formulary strategies, clinical improvement recommendations, and other cost containment strategies. The CAE is expected to be a strong communicator and organized individual who works well within a collaborative team managing clients.

    Locations:

    The Maxor team brings robust experience, diverse perspectives and passion from a nationwide team of 800+ professionals located in more than half of the US states.

    Responsibilities

    • Present at quarterly, biannual, or annual meetings with the Account Executive to discuss clinical insights, trends and recommendations
    • Provide clinical analyses and associated insights for client requested reports , using MaxorPlus analytical systems and data warehouses
    • Work in collaboration with the assigned Account Executive to service client’s needs
    • Serve as liaison between Clinical Ops and client in relation to formulary updates
    • Participate in various internal committees, included but not limited to: Formulary Advisory Committee, P&T Committee and Product Development Committee
    • Participate in sales finalist presentations

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor or Doctorate Degree Pharmacy
    • MBA Preferred

    Experience:

    • 2-5 years' experience in direct client facing clinical role (required)
    • Completed Managed Care Residency Program (preferred)
    • Proficiency in drug literature, clinical trials and national guidelines

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • At least 2-5 years’ experience in a client-facing and/or client clinical consultative role.
    • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
    • Commanding and persuasive presenter in individual and group environments
    • Leadership skills to effectively implement changes and solve problems
    • Ability to work independently, while collaborating with other team members
    • Ability to analyze, understand, and use statistical report data
    • Fluent in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, Etc…)
    • 25-40% Travel
