    MaxorPlus is seeking a Director, Eligibility and Accumulators to join our growing operations team.



    The Director of Eligibility and Accumulators is responsible for delivering consistent, reliable cost-effective service for Maxor clients and patients.  Reporting to the VP of System Administration, the Director will lead a centrally managed team dedicated to setup and maintenance of all eligibility and accumulator functions.


    The Director of Eligibility and Accumulators must demonstrate an outstanding ability to attract and retain top talent for the business and the enterprise.  This leader will influence, collaborate, and work across multiple functions to drive operational excellence and deliver value to our clients and patients.

    Primary responsibilities: 

    • Lead team responsible for eligibility and accumulator setup, testing, and maintenance.
    • Develop long/short range forecasting and staffing plans to support the eligibility and accumulator function.
    • Contribute to expense budget creation, forecasting and management.
    • Manage functional area reporting & analytics needs.
    • Ensure quality, service level, productivity and customer standards are consistently met.
    • Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
    • Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.
    • Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
    • Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
    • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
    • Ensure staff is informed of product upgrades or enhancements in a timely manner.
    • Hire and train competent staff.
    • On a biweekly basis, verify departmental timesheets for departmental employees ensuring the timesheets are accurate based on the work-schedule and necessary corrections are done prior to timely Payroll submission.
    • Develop and mentor departmental staff by providing career coaching; motivate departmental staff, individually and as a group; understand and support diversity; and establish an effective team.
    • Conduct initial and annual performance evaluations.
    • Promote teamwork; discipline staff when warranted.
    • Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


    Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in systems, business, health administration or related field preferred.


    Experience: Strong knowledge of technology and health care with a minimum of 3 years people leadership experience.


    Skill Set:

    • Strong business acumen with eligibility and accumulator knowledge.
    • Proven ability to lead others in a dynamic and matrixed environment.
    • Proven ability to think strategically, develop plans, and execute.
    • Understanding of Rx claim processing and PBM functions.
    • Proven ability to analyze processes, define work content, implement measurements, and install controls that enable more effective management of operational service and cost.
    • Proven track record of developing processes to manage setup, testing, and maintenance of critical operational tasks.
    • Proven ability to leverage technology to improve service delivery.
    • Proven ability to inspire, attract top talent, build a team, and develop others.
    • Proven ability to effectively communicate and at all levels of the organization.
    • Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
